This is my card making blog. I get bursts of creativity, and I enjoy sharing my ideas.

And Again...
Jeff is away again tonight, this time at Paul's place for a guy's night. What they will be doing is playing World of Warcraft, Jeff's favourite thing to do in his spare time. And since I'm home alone again, I thought, what to do... I guess I'll make more cards. I do feel the need to get more stamp sets, I'm running out of ideas with the ones that I have. Maybe I just feel like I'm constantly repeating myself since I'm using the same stamp sets over and over again. Well, here's what I made tonight: Stamp Sets: Heartfelt Thanks, Sincere Salutations Card Stock: So Saffron, So Saffron DSP, Whisper White Ink: So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Basic Black Accessories: Silver Brads, white ribbon from Dollarama
I love the first card especially. I don't know much about stamping techniques yet -- can you tell me how you get the black outline of the flower petals, and the slightly offset saffron color that's filled in?
By the way, my husband spent most of today out playing Battletech. Luckily we don't mind being married to big kids! ;-)
Thanks for the e-mail with the info about how you stamped the flower! That stamp set is lovely. I really like the sort of "wispy" look that the two-step stamping results in (although wispy isn't exactly the word I mean).
I am learning so much just looking at all the different ink stamp blogs!
I am a 27 year old wife and mother. My husband's name is Jeff, and my son's name is Alexander. My next baby is due on December 25, 2010!! I love to make cards with Stampin' Up! products, and I love getting ideas and implementing them to make a project of my own. When I'm not stampin', I enjoy to read, cross-stitch, and watch movies.
Welcome to SMART stampin'! I have been creating cards with Stamin' Up! products for almost two years, and I love it! I can't get enough ideas (and I certainly don't have enough products!)! I love being able to create cards and teach others how to make them as well. I get together with my sister once every other week, and we always have a few cards to make. I am not a demonstrator, but am thinking about becoming one sometime in the future.
I am a 27 year old stay-at-home mom of a one year old boy, with another one on the way, and I have a fabulous husband who understands and endorses my hobby. Jeff is a waterproofing salesman in the greater Hamilton area, and all the clients who purchase his system receive a homemade card from me.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I love to read your comments! Please feel welcome to visit my SplitCoastStampers Gallery to see my full assortment of cards. If you would like to purchase some, please email me.
